RACY SEXY: Race, Culture & Sexuality, 1993, was an ambitious and expansive project that explored the intersecting issues of race, culture, and sexuality. Co-organized by Karin Lee and myself through the Chinese Cultural Centre in Vancouver, with a coalition of culturally diverse artists and cultural organizers, 33 artists from across Canada presented their visual art, film, video, theatre, dance, music, readings, and performance art in 9 community and cultural centres in Greater Vancouver.
